Just Because I’m Sober…

Having been in residential treatment, many times, I thought “How can I make this different? How can I make this fun -but yet serious?” Inpatient treatment was a game changer for me, I wouldn’t be who I am today, where I am today, without having been admitted. I found a light in treatment which made the path easier to see, easier to walk upon; without stepping in potholes, breaking my neck. I want to spread that light with those who are standing where I used to stand. I want to share in a ways which are familiar, laughable, and vital at making the spirit shine.

Just because I’m sober, changing so many things about me, doesn’t mean this new life has to be boring. I still can be me and this can still be so much fun.

“Chrissy exudes an energy that is absolutely infectious.  Her natural ability at story telling coupled with her moving, original compositions is an experience you must not miss.  She will make you laugh, she will make you cry and everything in between.  Mostly, however, she will inspire you to know that regardless of your past, there is a future beyond your wildest dreams, waiting for you!”

“Chrissy is blessed with the duality of combining raw talent while living in the moment of gratitude. Her shows never disappoint, and I’ve been to several at our facility. She brings a genuine, authentic style with her lyrics and story unique as her. Chrissy truly cares about giving back what was given to her, that’s clear in her message. She reaches inside my soul every time and in the heart of our patients. Blessed to share her with our patients and call her my friend ”

“Chrissy Strong is an amazing and inspirational women that I have known for over 12 years. She writes her songs from a deep inner perspective that resonates with everyone who hears her songs. I am deeply grateful that she has shared her gift with me. Her music is a reflection of how she made a decision to end her toxic relationship with her addiction. She is an artist with talent that more people need to hear her story told through her music. You can follow her life through her music. Her story is an inspiration that can make you laugh and cry.  I learned from her We do move on, We do get healthy, We do recover.”

Being around her energy, her vibe, and her soul is a feeling in itself. If you want an experience, if you want a story you can tell for years; spend five minutes with Chrissy. She is hilarious and will have you feeling like you’re the only one in the room.”
